  • Head of the Department of Microbiology Govt. Medical College Srinagar since 01-02-2006. Have been Internal / External examiner for 2nd MBBS and BDS since year 2006, and also external examiner for 2nd MBBS and BDS exams since then.
  • Started Post graduation (MD) in the subject of Microbiology in GMC, Srinagar in the year 2016.
  • Head of state reference laboratory (SRL) of HIV testing lab for whole Kashmir division and Ladakh division since 2002 till date.
  • Started Molecular testing both at Influenza/ Covid Lab in the Year 2017 and in the Department of Microbiology, GMC, Srinagar in the year 2015.
  • Member secretary of Infection control committee for associated hospital Govt. Medical College Srinagar.
  • Member of ethical committee of Sheri- Kashmir Institute of Medical Science SKIMS, Soura Srinagar for a period of 5 years from 2012 to 2017.
  • Investigator in India CLEN community Anti-Microbial Resistance (CAMR) Extension study for detection of nasopharyngeal carrier amoung school going children of streptococcus pneumonia and Haemophilus influenza and their resistance pattern in 2004.
